Urszula Mach-Bryson, herbaciane imię Sōu 宗宇, lektorka w Katedrze Japonistyki Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego, prezes Stowarzyszenia Urasenke Sunshinkai, przedstawicielka Urasenke w Polsce. Od piętnastu lat naucza chanoyu (japońskiej sztuki drogi herbaty) w Polsce i okazjonalnie w innych krajach. Jest autorką artykułów popularyzatorskich i naukowych dotyczących historii i praktyki chanoyu. Organizuje konferencje, międzynarodowe warsztaty, spotkania z nauczycielami. Jedno z miejsc praktyk (keikoba), w których naucza znajduje się w salonie w jej mieszkaniu. Z herbatą po prostu żyje na codzień.
O warsztacie:
Co wspólnego ma herbata z makijażem? Ile waży herbaciany proszek w czarce? Kto liczy oczka w macie i co mówi herbata o tym, że nie samym chlebem żyje człowiek?
Podczas warsztatu chcemy podzielić się z uczestnikami anegdotami z historii, filozofii i praktyki chanoyu oraz pasją do niepowszedniego przeżywania codzienności. Zademonstrujemy jedną z wielu form tradycyjnego przygotowania herbaty matcha – formę podróżną z wykorzystaniem herbacianego pudełka. Podczas spotkania będziemy uczyć się herbacianej etykiety i zastanawiać się nad jej przesłaniem.

What does tea have to do with makeup? How much does the tea powder in the cup weigh? Who counts the stitches in the mat and what does tea say about the fact that man does not live by bread alone?
During the workshop, we want to share with the participants anecdotes from the history, philosophy and practice of chanoyu, as well as the passion for living everyday life in a unique way. We will demonstrate one of the many forms of traditional matcha preparation – a travel form using a tea box. During the meeting, we will learn tea etiquette and reflect on its message.
With a bow, we invite you to a shared tea surrounded by greenery in Poznań.

Urszula Mach-Bryson, tea name Sōu 宗 宇, lecturer at the Department of Japanese Studies at the University of Warsaw, president of the Urasenke Sunshinkai Association, representative of Urasenke in Poland. For fifteen years he has been teaching chanoyu (the Japanese art of the way of tea) in Poland and occasionally in other countries. She is the author of popularizing and scientific articles on the history and practice of chanoyu. It organizes conferences, international workshops and meetings with teachers. One of the places of practice (keikoba) where she teaches is in the living room of her apartment. He simply lives every day with tea.
