Experience traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony „Chanoyu” in the Omotesenke style.
A travel through history, philosophy and art.
Tea Ceremony is a way to enjoy the beauty of everyday life, an opportunity to live an unrepeatable aesthetical moment and a chance to share our hearts while drinking a cup of matcha.
Omotesenke is one of the three original major schools founded in the XVI sec. after the Great Master Sen no Rikyu, following the principles of „wa-kei-sei-jaku”: harmony, respect, purity, semplicity.
During the event there will be a brief introduction and a demonstration of a complete tea ceremony hosted by certified Omotesenke practitioners. Everyone is welcome!
Afterwards, participants who want to deepen their experience, can took part to the ceremony as guests and learn how to properly drink a tasty bowl of matcha tea paired with a special Japanese sweet „wagashi”.
